There is no better setting than the famous literary café Les Deux Magots to show off Paris to the world. The cinema industry has often featured this true living legend as a setting for memorable scenes in its films.

In the 1973 film "The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob" directed by Gérard Oury, Slimane, one of the film's protagonists, is kidnapped by the secret police from the rear of the café. In another 1973 film, "The Mother and the Whore" by Jean Eustache, the character of Alexandre, played by Jean-Pierre Léaud, is a regular at Les Deux Magots. In 2011, Omar Sy and François Cluzet dined at the restaurant, under the watchful eye of Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, directors of the successful film "The Intouchables".

More recently, the American director J.J. Abrams revealed that he looked for inspiration for the 7th episode of "Star Wars" at Les Deux Magots! Another exciting chapter to add to its story...
