Les Deux Magots in Japan

In September 1989, a Deux Magots-branded café-restaurant was opened in Tokyo, in the Shibuya district (twinned with Saint-Germain-des-Prés), at the centre of the multi-complex Bunkamura cultural centre. The architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte designed the café, taking inspiration from the colours of Les Deux Magots in Paris. The terrace is found at the heart of the Bunkamura centre and welcomes customers from 11am to 10:30pm, and the Les Deux Magots café-restaurant, spread over two floors, allows local Japanese people or visiting tourists to experience a little bit of Paris in the land of the rising sun.

A store in the Tokyu department store, next to the Bunkamura centre, has offered gourmet food products under the Deux Magots brand since 1990.

There are also three bakeries in Tokyo.
